Jesse Is Heavyweight, CEO of Heavyweight Unlimited, In High Demand by Major Labels

Jesse Is Heavyweight, a Dallas Texas native and Founder and CEO of his own imprint Heavyweight Unlimited, is the most sought after underground rap artist of the times.

After a Jesse Heavyweight song appeared on the biggest and most respected talk show in mainstream hip hop, The Joe Budden Podcast, thanks to hip hop aficionado Ice, Jesse has been pursued by many companies. Mostly due to his direct to consumer music model that we haven’t seen since the likes of the late great Nipsey Hussle.

Jesse has walked away from Spotify similar to Snoop Dogg and opted for releases either on his own company’s server, exclusively Apple Music, or his own Patreon page. Once you reach Jesse Is Heavyweight directly, expect to pay a premium. Jesse boasts that all his music is 100% authentic and will always be crafted by him, unlike most major label artists who often have help writing music and are used to being given songs that the company has already deemed a hit. BOB’s smash hit Nothing On You by Bruno Mars was given to Lupe Fiasco and other artists until the label decided that they would release BOB’s version. This is a common practice but not for Jesse Is Heavyweight.

According to Yahoo Finance and other major publications Jesse Is Heavyweight is being bid on by major music companies to bring his unique southern lyrical flavor to the mainstream audience. With reports that the bids have reached 8 figures Jesse Is Heavyweight hasn’t announced partnering with any one of the companies to date.

However, Jesse Heavyweight has released a new song to his Patreon following. 3:40 AM in Oakland, whose cover art pays homage to the women of the black empowerment movement in Oakland for Women’s History Month, is one of the best offerings available to date. According to Jesse’s IG page, which boasts over 350k followers, 3:40 AM was the time of the first raid of The Free Food Program in Oakland that led to the empowerment movement becoming disabled and ultimately dismantled. You can subscribe to his Patreon to hear the full song or buy it outright. http://patreon.com/JesseIsHeavyweight

Also Jesse’s single Gizmo has hit over one million streams online and the music video will be released soon.

Wherever Jesse Is Heavyweight lands his music will continue to be a breath of fresh air in this climate.
