RAYFM’s Kueen delves into wellness, self-care, and more with fresh project ‘Got Juice?’

Born in the South and sharpened in the chaos of New York City, Kueen is an artist whose work exists at the intersection of raw experience, musical exploration, and unshakable independence. With her latest mixtape, Got Juice?, she delivers a rich sonic journey- one that’s as rooted in hip-hop grit as it is soaked in soul, jazz, and unfiltered emotion.

After moving from North Carolina to NYC in 2014, Kueen set out to build something beyond the typical industry path. And she’s done exactly that. With co-signs from legends like Pharoahe Monch and DJ Eclipse, past releases like Tales of Gotham, and a growing fanbase tapped into her no-frills authenticity, she’s carved out a unique lane in the world of independent music.

As founder and CFO of RAYFM Essentials, her entrepreneurship reflects the same ethos as her music: intentional, holistic, and self-made. From wellness juices and skincare to apparel, her lifestyle brand promotes self-care with edge- and now, Got Juice? blends these worlds seamlessly- both a nod to her business and a metaphor for her creative essence.

Got Juice? opens with “Kleopatra’s Return,” a lush, jazz-infused reintroduction that walks the line between elegance and command. Kueen enters the booth like royalty with unfinished business- calm, calculated, and confident. The track sets the stage for a tape that never screams for attention but refuses to be ignored.

From there, the project unfolds with grace and grip. “QTF” featuring T-Bruin drifts into hypnotic territory- a smoked-out blend of melodic haze and lyrical clarity. On “Hot Box,” Kueen navigates woozy jazz textures with sharp delivery, creating a mood that’s both trippy and grounded. Then there’s “Runtz & Roses,” a standout moment of soulful reflection wrapped in groove-heavy warmth, where she blurs the line between vulnerability and bravado.

There’s versatility to Kueen that defines her sound and her story: Southern soul meets New York ambition. Earthy but elevated, and grounded yet expansive. Got Juice? captures that duality better than ever. Whether you're here for the bars, the vibes, the vision- or all three- Got Juice? delivers.
