St. Louis artist Daemon joins forces with longtime Killer Mike collaborator and Run the Jewels DJ Trackstar on the Killjoy EP, out now on Old Soul Records. Videos are already out for singles “Red Pill 84” and “Demagogue” featuring Rockwell Knuckles and Tef Poe, which appear alongside tracks like “Just a Choice,” and “Red Pill 84,” alongside tracks “To Whom it May Concern,” “All the Way Outside,” “Confess,” and “Out of Mind.” Trackstar, Run the Jewels’ official live DJ since 2013, has performed with the group at Madison Square Garden, Coachella, Glastonbury, and Lollapalooza, and appeared with Killer Mike and the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in 2024. Killjoy arrives just one week before Daemon’s forthcoming solo album Euphonic, dropping August 15, continuing a relentless run that also includes his self-described “cutting edge throwback” style on tracks like Euphonic singles “The Heartbreak Dance” (Youtube) and “Megalodon” (Youtube) as well as previous singles "ROTN Inertia" (Youtube), "Credit Check" (Youtube), "Elevation" (Youtube), and "Vader" (Youtube), plus collaborations with artists like Killer Mike and DJ Shadow.
